With a background in fine arts and years of teaching a variety of art labs to kids & grownups, Tara enjoys sharing tools to help everyone feel comfortable in the creative process while learning new techniques. 

Although born in the Bay Area, Tara grew up mostly in FL. In 2022 she decided to come home & landed in Santa Rosa. In 2023, Tara took over the general management of Artaluma until June 2024. Here she put her skills in non-profit management & marketing to work while also teaching a variety of creative art classes. 

Tara holds a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts and works to combine her education and life experiences, part of which consists of growing up in a spiritual community, to create programs that encourage people to live their best lives by minimizing stress, opening to awareness, and making choices that are tailored to their needs and lifestyle. 

For over a decade, Tara was the owner of an organic clothing company, Nirvana Mama, and a freelance writer. Her passion is eco-conscious, healthy, simplistic living, and her goal is to help others find their way to authentic lives through creative processes. 

Tara has been involved with caring for the environment all her life and strives to make contributions that will create changes for the betterment of our community.
